The Conference Center offers several lodging options with convenient access to our dining hall and meeting rooms, as well as our wide variety of recreation activities to make your stay a true retreat. We offer lodging year round to both groups and the public.

Check in procedures

Upon arrival, please go to McCrary Dining Hall to find check-in information. You may check-in as early as 3:00 p.m. the day of your arrival, with check-out being no later than 11:00 a.m. the morning of your departure.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Guests cancelling reservations 48 hours before their arrival date will not incur a cancellation fee. Guests cancelling within 48 hours of their arrival date will incur a one night charge of room rate and tax. Wedding parties and Conference Groups, please refer to your contracts regarding cancellation policy.

Damage Recovery Charges Policy:

KBS, as with all of Michigan State University, is a tobacco free campus. Guests who do not comply with this policy will be asked to leave and will be automatically charged a $50 cleaning and decontamination fee.

Any damage to the lodging rooms or grounds will be the financial responsibility of the guests who have rented the room or designated area. KBS reserves the right to charge the guest a fee equal to the cost to remove stains in furniture upholstery, and damage to appliances, furnishing and fixtures. Charges will be applied to the credit card provided to KBS upon booking of reservation.

To respect all our guests, KBS has a no pet policy.

Please complete the KBS Housing Reservation Form to reserve your lodging if coming to KBS as a student (graduate or undergraduate), intern, or MSU employee (academic or support staff).
