KBS has much to explore. Click on our exploration map to envision your next visit. Each stop has its own description and photograph. Kellogg Biological Station is 64 miles from the MSU main campus in East Lansing, but the Directions Tab can get you here from any direction you are coming from. It even has a printable map.
Once you are here take the time to look around. We are near the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, The Kellogg Farm with its robot milking machine, and have trails across the MSU experimental plots, fields and forest adjacent to old estate. If you like looking for eagles while dipping your toes in Gull Lake , riding a bike along our trails, or just strolling from the Manor House over to check the progress of our prairie grass restoration plots; there is a place for the nature lover in everyone.
A legacy of conservation; a commitment to sustainability.
