Buying Local

Buying Local – we partner with local companies to reduce fuel consumption and transportation-related pollution, while growing a more sustainable, Eco-friendly community.

Reducing Energy Usage and Waste

Reducing Energy Usage and Waste – we use compostable thermoplastic aliphatic polyester (PLA) cups derived from corn starch, a renewable resource. When renovating our guest rooms we upgrade our appliances to Energy Star rated and use LED light bulbs  throughout our buildings. We encourage our guests to assist us with our efforts by providing recycling bins in most public areas. These efforts have enabled us to reduce energy use by 14% and nearly eliminate non-compostable, non-recyclable waste.
